FOR WOOCOMMERCE STORES

Supplier price list in. Updated prices out.

EmberPrice imports your supplier's XLSX, CSV or PDF, matches every row to your catalog, applies your margin rules — and shows you the exact price diff before anything changes.

Price diff preview showing old and new prices with percent change
Tested on 10,000-product catalogs 5,000-row lists in minutes One-click rollback

Your supplier's spreadsheet was not made for your store.

Row 4

Headers that never start on row 1. Merged cells. Section titles mid-table.

$ 1.234,56

Prices in every regional format, with currency symbols and thousands separators.

SKU ≠ SKU

Their codes don't match yours. Sometimes there's no code column at all.

Updating prices by hand from that file takes hours — and one typo ships a wrong price to real customers.

HOW IT WORKS

Six steps. Nothing touches your store until step six.

1

Upload

Drop in your supplier's XLSX, XLS, CSV — or PDF on Pro.

2

Map columns

Code, description and price are auto-detected. Confirm once per supplier.

3

Review matches

A matching cascade resolves each row; anything uncertain waits for your click.

4

Set your rules

Margin, VAT, rounding (.99 endings included), sale-price policy, per-category overrides.

5

Preview the diff

Old price → new price, percent change and warnings. Export to CSV if you like.

6

Apply — or roll back

Runs in the background with a snapshot first. Undo the whole import in one click.

Built for messy real-world price lists.

Matching cascade, not AI roulette

Learned aliases → SKU → exact name → fuzzy → AI only for the stubborn rows. Most rows resolve locally, free and instantly.

Safety by design

A hard price floor, guardrails that flag suspicious changes, and a snapshot before every apply. A wrong price never ships silently.

It learns your suppliers

Every match you confirm is remembered. The first import needs review; the next one from that supplier is nearly automatic.

Your AI key, your data

Bring your own Anthropic or OpenAI key (optional). Only product names and SKUs are ever sent — never customers or orders.

Questions, answered.

Does it change my prices as soon as I upload a file?

No. Nothing is written to any product until you reach the last step and explicitly apply the job — every earlier step, including mapping, matching, rules and preview, is read-only.

Which file formats are supported?

XLSX, XLS and CSV on the free plan. PDF price lists (text-layer only, not scanned images) require the Pro plan and an AI API key.

Do I need an AI API key?

No. The full wizard works without one, using local column detection and matching (alias, SKU/GTIN, exact name, fuzzy). An API key only unlocks optional AI-assisted matching, mapping and PDF import — bring your own.

What data is sent to the AI provider?

Only the supplier's own row text (names, codes) and matching candidates from your own catalog (product names, SKUs), and only when AI features are enabled and a request is actually made. Customer, order and other personal data are never sent.

What if a match is wrong?

Any row the cascade isn't confident about is left for manual review — nothing auto-applies without a match. You can always search and manually assign a row to any product or variation.

Can I undo a price update?

Yes. Every apply snapshots the previous prices first. Roll back a job from the History screen — the free plan can roll back its most recently applied job, Pro keeps full history.

The next price list won't update itself.
